The east exit of Tamachi Station is undergoing redevelopment, and it seems that the high-rise building "Tamachi Station Tower N" will be completed in the spring of 2020 as part of "msb Tamachi", a high-rise building complex.
To get to msb Tamachi, you can exit the east exit of Tamachi Station and access it from the pedestrian deck on the opposite side of Tokyo Institute of Technology.

When you go down the pedestrian deck and turn left, you will see the outdoor escalator and the entrance to msb Tamachi.
Let's enter msb Tamachi 1F, passing by the escalator and Life.

Then, there was a place to sit and rest in the restaurant floor near the 1st floor entrance!
There were 6 tables with seating for 4 people.
The floor itself has many unique restaurants, and there are not many chain restaurants.

It's quite rare to have tables in an environment near the 1st floor entrance. And it's on the Yamanote Line.
It's divided on both sides by plants, so it doesn't feel as crowded as a food court, and I think it's easy to relax.
The tables were often used by families with children.

It's a set of uniquely designed chairs and square tables.
Also, there was a distinctive counter-type table, so it was a rest space with various attention to detail.
Many people were eating lunch or snacks at these tables, and it was not specifically written that eating and drinking were prohibited.
I think it's convenient to remember this place as a place to eat boxed lunches in Tamachi♪
However, I gave it 3 stars because the 1st floor is crowded.
Also, the "msb Tamachi 4F Rest Space" nearby has a relaxing rest area with tables, so it's a must-see!
So, why not use it as a place to sit and rest around Tamachi Station while shopping at msb Tamachi?
