The east exit of Tamachi Station is undergoing redevelopment, and it seems that the high-rise building "Tamachi Station Tower N" will be completed in the spring of 2020 as part of "msb Tamachi", a high-rise building district.
To get to msb Tamachi, you can exit the east exit of Tamachi Station and access it from the pedestrian deck on the opposite side of Tokyo Institute of Technology.

When you go down the pedestrian deck and proceed to the left, you will see the entrance to msb Tamachi and an outdoor escalator like this.
Let's go to the 2nd floor event plaza of msb Tamachi by going up this outdoor escalator.

There is a small plaza when you go up the escalator.
There are benches on the right side of this photo where you can sit and take a break, so it's convenient to remember♪
It's a short escalator, but let's go up to the 2nd floor.

This is the space called the event plaza of msb Tamachi.
The building under construction in front is Tamachi Station Tower N.
The east exit area of Tamachi Station is developing rapidly.
I somehow understood the slogan that was displayed at the construction site of msb Tamachi, "I think Tamachi's growth curve is the best in Tokyo".

It's a beautiful and comfortable space with a sense of openness♪
It's the 2nd floor plaza, but there are trees and plants, making it perfect for a break near Tamachi Station.
There are benches like a deck in the plaza, so why not sit down and relax!?

There are benches on the opposite side as well, so it seems that it's unlikely to be crowded and unable to sit.
From this event plaza, there are no particular facilities other than the hotel entrance and the down escalator.
For this reason, there is less foot traffic, so I was able to relax and take a break.
Also, since Life, a supermarket, is on the 1st floor, it's easy to get lunch boxes and snacks.
It's convenient to remember this as a place to eat lunch near Tamachi Station!

There was a sudden object-shaped bench in front of the entrance to Bullman Tokyo Tamachi.
There is a long bench made of this material next to it, is it art?
There was a notice that it is forbidden to play on it like a stage.

An event plaza that seems to function as an oasis in the city.
But since more than half of the space is trees and benches, I wondered, "Isn't it difficult to use it as an event space...?"
The plaza may be developed along with Station Tower N in the future.
Also, the "msb Tamachi 1F Rest Space" under the escalator has table seats, so be sure to check it out if you want to take a break indoors!
So, why not use it for shopping at msb Tamachi, or as a place to sit and take a break near Tamachi Station?
