We've actually investigated, so let's take a closer look!
To get to Shin-Maru Building, exit the Marunouchi Central Exit of JR Tokyo Station and head towards the intersection in front of the station.
**Then, the building on the right side of the intersection with "BEAMS" written on it is Shin-Maru Building.**
The 7th floor of Shin-Maru Building is a restaurant floor called "Marunouchi House", and **there is a place where you can sit and take a break on the attached terrace.**
**Many wooden tables and benches were installed on the terrace.**
Even though it's a small terrace, there are some plantings, creating a relaxing space.
There are also counter-type benches!
**Moreover, you can enjoy the view of Tokyo Station, so maybe it's romantic to take a break at the counter seats and admire the night view of Tokyo Station!?**
You can also see Tokyo Station from the benches on the glass side of the terrace.
**It's nice, isn't it, the rest area of Shin-Maru Building!**
**There were also table seats if you go to the back.**
**There are small lights on the tables, and it's a rest area that looks like it will have a good atmosphere at night.**
These table seats are small and I personally like them.
There were also tall table seats.
**You can enjoy the view of Tokyo Station from a high position while leaning against the wall♪**
**The table seats on the glass side of the terrace have an open view, which is nice.**
Many people were eating on the terrace what they bought inside the Shin-Maru Building.
**Eating and drinking is allowed, but please note that bringing in outside food and drinks is prohibited!**
Also, if you want to take a break indoors, "**Rest area near Maison de Soil on the 3rd floor of Shin-Maru Building**" and "**Sofa near the escalator on the Marunouchi 1st side of Shin-Maru Building**" are recommended, so please consider them as well.
So, why not use Shin-Maru Building as a resting place near Tokyo Station while you're shopping?
