“When you want to take a break with your kids near Urawa Station”
There's a plaza next to the Saitama Kaikan. It used to be the Saitama Prefectural Library, and it was renovated in 2020.

Although it's not a sandy area, there's a spacious environment with benches, plants, and flowerbeds.

It seems to be popular with families with children. Since there aren't many large parks near Urawa Station, it's a valuable area.

There is a monument for the temporary residence of Emperor Meiji.
It is a memorial commemorating the former Western-style building of the Saitama Prefectural Normal School, which was used as the temporary residence (lodging) of Emperor Meiji.

It is the place where Saitama Prefectural Urawa Daiichi Girls' High School originated.
It is said that Saitama Prefectural Girls' High School, the predecessor of Urawa Ichijo, was born here.
Also, when I did a live walk around Urawa, I introduced this rest area. If you like, please check out the YouTube video to see the benches.
So, why not try using it as a place to take a break near Urawa Station?
