Sogo is located in the east exit area of Yokohama, near Marui and Bay Quarter.
To get to Sogo Yokohama, go out the east exit ticket gate of Yokohama Station and go straight through the east exit underground shopping mall Porta Central Passage, and you will see the main entrance.
The 2nd floor has import boutiques and a jewelry corner, and when you exit the entrance to the Hermes and Vuitton area, there is an outdoor passage that leads to Yokohama Bay Quarter and the Kamome pedestrian bridge.

And, a large space near Vuitton is called "Kaze no Hiroba (Wind Square)", and I found a place where you can sit and take a break!
As a landmark, as shown in the photo above, it's the location where you can see the Bay Quarter sign from the deck.

A plate that says "Kaze no Hiroba (Wind Square)" is embedded in the deck floor.
It is integrated with ornamental plants and illuminations.
Why is it called Wind Square...?

It's a place where you can really feel the pleasant breeze of the bay area.
The buildings of Fuji Xerox and Nissan stand side by side, and it's also a spot with beautiful night views.
It's also close to Yokohama Station, so it's recommended when you want to take a break on a date in Yokohama!?

Oh, I skipped the introduction of the bench (laughs)
There is one 4-seater stone bench and one 3-seater stone bench.
There isn't much traffic even on weekends and holidays, so you can take a rest slowly.
Also, the point is that you can avoid direct sunlight and some rain because there is a roof.
In addition, Wind Square is an event space, and it seems that stalls and events are sometimes held depending on the time of year.
So, why not use it as a place to take a break around Yokohama Station while shopping at Sogo Yokohama?
