Vivre is the symbol of Yokohama West Exit!
To get to Yokohama Vivre, head towards the Fifth Avenue, where Don Quijote and Round One are located, from the West Exit of the JR lines or the Sotetsu Line ticket gates, and you'll see it after crossing the Minami-sachibashi Bridge over the Katabiragawa River.

Vivre underwent a major renewal in 2015, and the exterior walls were redesigned with a chic and stylish look.
There is a plaza in front of Vivre, which is a spot where many young people gather.
And, there's a place to sit and take a break in the passage next to the Vivre entrance!

Many iron benches are installed along the wall of Don Quijote.
If someone says "Meet at Vivre!" as a meeting place around Yokohama Station, they mean this place.
(There are many izakayas nearby, so it seems to be a famous place for picking up people and a gathering place...)

When I checked on weekends and holidays in the evening, I saw people practicing hip-hop dance and drinking alcohol.
I haven't seen the daytime situation, but in short, I'm a little worried about the safety aspect.
It seems to be used for urgent phone calls, daytime meetings, or when you are not feeling well.
Also, if you're at Vivre, the leather sofas "Yokohama Vivre 2F Starbucks front" are recommended, so be sure to check them out!
So, why not use it as a resting place to sit down around Yokohama Station while you're shopping at Yokohama Vivre?
