Yokosuka-Chuo Station has an east exit on the pedestrian deck side and a west exit on the More's City side.
Let's head to the 8th floor restaurant floor of More's City, located right outside the west exit ticket gate!

In the center of the More's floor map, next to the escalators at number 13, there's a public space called the Sun Patio.
And the Sun Patio is a spot where you can sit and take a break!

I took a look at the entire Sun Patio from the 9th floor.
The interior and decorations are quite elaborate, creating a somewhat Spanish courtyard atmosphere.
The public space seems to be primarily used as a rest area.

There are five 4-seater table seats installed!
You might want to ask, "Parasols indoors?" but the atmosphere is quite nice.
There are sofas that will be introduced later on the right side, but they're nestled between pillars, so they don't stand out much from the passage, making it a relaxing spot for a break.

These are sturdy wooden table seats, and they're quite user-friendly.
They're perfect for when you want to take a break with your family and kids in Yokosuka-Chuo!
The chair seats are also wide, so you can relax and take a break!
It might be good as a Nomad/Remote work spot if you're not staying for too long.

Next are the sofa seats placed next to the escalator, and they're quite gorgeous too!
They even have back cushions, making them very comfortable to sit on.
You can feel the message, "Take a rest and relax!"

I looked up at the ceiling. (From an outside perspective, I definitely looked suspicious.)
It has a glass ceiling, allowing natural light, making it a bright rest spot.
It's a space that utilizes natural light as much as possible without using artificial lighting. It's great!

They've paid attention to surprisingly small details, making it the best spot to take a break in Yokosuka-Chuo.
Even if you have a lot of luggage or suitcases when sightseeing in Yokosuka, there's plenty of space, so you'll be fine.
It might get a bit noisy during meal times, but it's still comfortable.

Although it's separate from the Sun Patio, the 9th-floor garden terrace was quite impressive, so if you'd like, go take a look!
This is the rooftop of a commercial facility, you know? It's the Yokosuka version of Venus Fort.
It would have been nice if there were benches...
So, why not use it as a place to take a break in Yokosuka-Chuo while you're shopping at More's City?
