When you exit the east exit of Yokosuka-Chuo Station, a pedestrian deck awaits, leading to the commercial facility, Yokosuka Prime.
This side is opposite More's City and faces areas like Dobuita Street, Mikasa Park, and the ferry to Sarushima Island, so it's bustling with tourists in the summer.
And in the center of the pedestrian deck, there were benches where you could sit and take a break!

There were about 20 wooden benches around the flowerbeds!
It's close to Yokosuka-Chuo Station, making it easily accessible from the station.
It's convenient when you want to rest your feet a bit at the east exit or organize your luggage.

There are dividers between the benches, so you can have your own private space, making it easy to relax.
I was a little concerned about the flowers in the flowerbeds touching my back...
But it's also useful when you're in a hurry and want to eat a boxed lunch or rice balls in Yokosuka-Chuo.
And the old man in the center of the flowerbed gazing at the sky is...?
Yes, it's the "Saxophone Man" on the pedestrian deck.
There are "Walking ver" and "Saxophone playing ver," so it might be fun to look for them.
So, it's a convenient rest spot, also perfect for meeting up at the east exit of Yokosuka-Chuo Station!
By the way, we also recommend checking out the "bench on the 1st floor of More's City" which is closest to the west exit station!
So, why not use this spot as a place to take a break in Yokosuka-Chuo?
