Today, we're going to take a look at a unique place to relax!
If you walk straight from the north exit of Toyama Station along the wide boulevard, you'll reach the Okuda Shinmachi (South) intersection.
You'll easily spot the "Cyclo City Toyama" rental cycle, commonly known as "Avire," lined up nearby.
By the way, you can rent and return bicycles at the station called "Kansui Park East."
And then, a mysterious sphere and chairs appear!

This is... an artistic rest area... I feel like I'm in a cosmos.
These are single chairs that you might want to sit on when you visit Toyama with friends or on a date.

Something like tentacles is sprouting from the sphere.
It has a distinctive dome shape, so you can sit and rest without getting wet, even in the rain... (lol)

"...Can you hear it... If you put your ear close to the pipe, you can hear the sound of Toyama's underground water... the various sounds of the city... You can hear them."
It's the same method as the suikinkutsu (water koto), often made in gardens!
Wow! I don't really understand it, so here's a supplement (lol)
"A suikinkutsu is a small cave built near the area where you wash your hands and mouth before entering a tea ceremony, where you can listen to the sound of water dripping."

Moreover, it's interesting that it's in a place that's quite noticeable, and when you're sitting on the chair, passersby will stare at you!
Also, your reflection is subtly visible in the sphere (lol)
It's a chair that makes you feel enlightened, so it's fun to visit as a unique spot in Toyama♪
And right nearby, there's also a bench that draws a streamline, the "Rest Area in front of Toyama City General Gymnasium".
Speaking of Toyama... "Kansui Park (Canal Park)" is a must-see!
So, why not use these as resting places around Toyama Station?
